State-of-the-art, displacement-optimised three-cylinder FARMotion engines with power outputs ranging from 65 HP (48 kW) to 75 HP (55.4 kW) can be found under the hood of the new 5D Keyline series models. These engines have been specially developed for use in the agricultural industry. Electronic 2000 bar common-rail fuel injection, charge air cooling and DOC exhaust gas filtration guarantee high power delivery and a high torque with minimal fuel consumption and low emission values. The newly developed compact radiator with viscous-drive fans and PowerCore air cleaner promotes engine efficiency. The cooling system is also easily accessible, which significantly simplifies maintenance and cleaning work.

All new 5D Keyline models are equipped with a mechanical five-speed shuttle transmission. A 15+15 gear transmission with creeper for speeds from 287 m/h to 40 km/h is available as standard equipment. The final speed of 40 km/h can already be reached in ECO mode at 1870 rpm. This enables precise and efficient driving in all applications.

The new 5D Keyline models are genuine all-round tractors. The PTO shaft is activated manually using a lever. This ensures smooth, jolt-free start-up. To meet international safety requirements, all 5D Keyline models feature a STANDSTILL PTO shaft switch. If the driver leaves the tractor with the PTO shaft running, they must press a button to confirm that the PTO shaft will continue to operate. If they do not provide this confirmation, the engine will switch off after seven seconds.

The hydraulic equipment in particular gives a good indication of how well a tractor can fit in with your enterprise. With the new 5D Keyline models, you have complete control over all relevant equipment. The 50 l/min OpenCenter pump powers two additional mechanical control valves at the rear. The DEUTZ-FAHR rear power lift with mechanical lifting gear adjustment (MHR) is known for its precise and efficient control system and can lift 3500 kg as standard.
